Initial Consultation

In your initial consultation, Rebecca will either meet with you and your dog(s) in your home, or a video consultation may be recommended first before an in-person meeting.

The initial consultation includes:

  • Gathering thorough background information – part of this is done through paperwork prior to the consultation
  • Addressing client concerns and establishing goals
  • Assessment of your dog’s behavior
  • Educating family members on their role in your dog’s training
  • Discussing how to best proceed with future sessions to ensure your dog’s success
  • Training exercises to begin right away to help you and your dog
  • A written training plan to help you meet your goals

Video consultations are $150 for 60-75 minutes.

In-home consultations are $150 – $185 for 75-90 minutes, depending on your location.

Preparing Families with Dogs for Life with a Baby

Rebecca understands your dog means everything to you. When you’re expecting, there is a level of excitement and anticipation: How will the dog react? Does the dog know I’m pregnant? Will the dog be jealous of the baby? I want everything to go smoothly!

As a proud licensed Family Paw Parent Educator, Rebecca can help you navigate this special time in your family’s life. You will be provided with resources for a successful transition for life with a baby, as well as one-on-one training and guidance to ensure you and your dog have the much-needed skills once the baby comes home. Since our dogs can’t read baby books or listen to podcasts, it’s up to us to help them prepare and succeed!
